FAQ

FAQ

  • Q Is it possible to take a bath or shower after suturing wounds and affected areas with Foldable Skin Closure?

    A

It is recommended not to take a bath after suturing the surgical site due to fear of infection. Usually, after suturing the surgical site with a needle, thread, or staple, etc., professional medical staff recommend bathing and showering if there are no signs of infection two days after removing the stitches.

  • Q Is it possible to remove wounds and affected areas without visiting a hospital after suturing them with Foldable Skin Closure?

    A

Unlike needles, threads, and staples, anyone can easily remove them. After sufficiently soaking the hydrocolloid attached to the skin with an alcohol swab (if not available, water or soapy water), gently remove it along the suture.

  • Q Is it possible to exercise after suturing wounds and affected areas with Foldable Skin Closure?

    A

Since the exercise and intensity may vary depending on the size of the wound, the affected area, and the sutured area, it is recommended that you consult with a medical professional or the medical practitioner in charge.
